Un remake del Dragon Quest Monsters uscito su Game Boy Color nel 1999 arriverà su Nintendo 3DS entro la fine del prossimo anno.
Ad annunciarlo è stata, sorpresa delle sorprese, Square Enix, la quale ha confermato anche che Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D (questo il titolo ufficiale) includerà anche alcune creature viste in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2.
