The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr, l'avventura tabletop di Bethesda è stata rimossa per plagio
Parti della storia sarebbero state prese da un modulo di avventura di Dungeons & Dragons.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr, l'avventura ispirata allo stile dei gioco di ruolo "pen and paper", è stata rimossa da Bethesda in seguito ad un reclamo da parte dei creatori dell'avventura The Black Road.
Come riporta VG247, gli autori avrebbero dichiarato che alcune parti di Elsweyr sembrano essere copiate dall'avventura di Dungeons & Dragons pubblicata nel 2016 da Paige Leitman e Ben Heisler.
Di seguito potete dare uno sguardo a due paragrafi messi a confronto: il primo proviene da The Black Road, mentre il secondo da Elsweyr.
"Through various means, it has been arranged that you would meet Azam the caravaneer in the large, Calimshan-styled tent that passes for a tavern here. A pair of tieflings, who seem to be unaffected by the heat, eye approaching visitors warily. The dim interior of the tent is a relief from the bright light and wind, though it's as hot here as anywhere else."
"In various ways, it is arranged that a group of adventurers would get acquainted with the caravan leader named Kar'reem. His big tent is filled with several Khajiit, which seem unaffected by the heat, they stare at you cautiously. The dim interior of the tent is a relief compared to the bright sunlight from outside, even though it is still as hot inside as out there."
Al di là delle parole, tutto, dagli scenari fino anche alla carovana, sembra copiato e incollato dall'avventura di D&D. Attualmente un portavoce di Bethesda ha dichiarato che lo studio sta lavorando per confrontare i vari capitoli e trovare le somiglianze. Per adesso Elsweyr è stato rimosso da internet e non è dato sapere se e quando tornerà disponibile da scaricare.
